The wonderful thing about writing this story is seeing it play out on pages as I draw them. I am also excited at the progress I am making towards working quickly. Right now everything is a fiddle. I’m constantly revising ideas about how the characters will look, but once that settles, I should be able to reliably produce two pages a week. That gives AP Comics our first 24 maybe 28, page book in January ’23. Then I guess the next pass will be to fix all the lighting issues and make sure the characters look the same from start to finish. Having drawn the whole thing, I should be in a great position to fix it all. I will continue to hand-letter it; that’s my incentive to keep narration and dialogue to a minimum.
