One of the best things about writing this comic book is the pace and how it gives me time to think and space for the story to grow. I am scripting and drawing as I go (having the general story-arc in mind and knowing how I think it ends) and this is a really powerful way of working for me. One thing that reassures is when you love your characters and start feeling how one scene is going to set up another one further down the road. It’s all the magic yin-yang of story; a tender moment now sets up a deep conflict later which turn sets up the Han-Solo-Returns-to-Have-Luke’s-Back-At-The-Act_III-Climax moment. I love story. This little dialogue here not only gave me feels. It made my brain whizz with possibilities for what it’s setting up in Act III.
